GARMIN WARRANTY
Garmin International Inc, guarantees the quality and impeccable working condition of the product in the period of time of active warranty, that starts with the delivery of the product to the consumer. Warranty is valid on the geographical area of Republic of Slovenia. Consumer Limited Warranty details are published on www.garmin.com.
Manufacturer vows that in the period of active warranty, he will eliminate the errors or technical imperfections, arising in the appropriate use of the product, in the accredited repair shop. Manufacturer guarantees that the repairing period will not be longer than 45 days from the day the manufacturer, salesman or accredited repair shop received the request for the error elimination. Product that will not comply with that deadline, should be substituted with a new, impeccable one. Warranty does not exclude consumer rights, that originate from the salesman's accountability for the errors on the product. Manufacturer vows for ensuring maintenance and spare parts for the period of 6 years after the expiry of the warranty period. The cost for entitled guarantee repair also includes the shipping cost for the parcels, shipped exclusively by the Post of Slovenia and marked as PPN.
WARRANTY IS VALID 24 MONTHS FROM THE DAY OF DELIVERY OF THE PRODUCT!
When giving a product away for repair, the buyer has to attach correctly completed warranty form or other suitable purchase certificate and codes of the additionally bought maps.
Warranty does not cover the errors, originating from:
- unprofessional or careless use, not in line with the attached instructions
- use of unsuitable (non-original) add-ins - unprofessional installation
- unathorized intervention into the product (physical or programming)
- mechanical damage
- high-voltage grid shock, exposure to the chemicals
- other force majeure
Warranty also does not cover the general consumable goods' wear-off (battery, outer antenna, attached additional equipment...).
