The best ratio of weight and high performance is enabled by the combination of Bridge technology and Tubelite Woodcore. The innovative combination gives the touring skis more power and responsiveness. Elan touring skis Ibex 84 are designed with a special shape, which prevents the snow from sticking to the upper side of the plate. It additionally lowers the skis' weight. Mountain Rocker profile offers great ski control, even at lower speeds and icy terrain, and uncompromising reliability at technically difficult descents.

Bridge technology

Unique innovative 3D shape, which improves snow shedding. Consequently, it reduces weight, provides torsional stability and unparalleled power transfer to edges.

Mountain Rocker profile

Moderate tip and tail rocker profile for easier turning and versatility in varied snow conditions. With the addition of camber underfoot, Mountain Rocker profile is able to ensure stability on every terrain and provide great precise turns.

Tubelite Woodcore

Two light carbon tubes in the lightweight laminated wood core provide torsional stability and improve the responsiveness of the touring skis.

Fiberglass reinforcement

Reinforcement from fiberglass are inlaid in the ski interior. It improves structure firmness, flexibility and torsional stability.

CYA plate

Reinforcement out of aluminium, for safety and security on your touring exploits. Compatible with all commercial bindings.

Vapor Tip inserts

Integrated inserts in the tip and tail area of the ski core. With the aim of reducing vibration and weight, which consequently improves stability and offers a smooth ride on any terrain.
